TingBake specializes in producing Asian-style fluffy toast with different layers of flavours.
Its texture resembling French 'Pain de mie', but softer. Its shape looking like dutch casino bread with perhaps even a hint of the Italian 'Pane di Segale', but sweeter and a lot more fluffy. Imagine tasting a piece of light sweet cloud in a fresh morning with your loved ones... That's the taste of TingBake's Toasts.
Why Bakery Business?
During my executive Master of Business Administration enrollment at the Erasmus University, I discovered my passion for Agriculture and Food. Having roots in Agricultural Science provided by my parents, I was given the opportunity to get to know WHEAT, corn, soy, strawberries, beans, sweet potatos, water melons, mushrooms and more, earlier than I could remember. Later, I have had the chance to work in different Agriculture & Food companies, which gave me a perspective regarding modern food processing processes and how international markets operate. It also reignited my vision of doing business. In 2021, I felt eager to start my own food business from scratch. That's when TingBake was born, a series of bread products based on Asian Fluffy Toast.
The Bread
The key ingredient for good dough, is the Flour and the balance of the ingredients. After several iterations, I found the perfect flour with a protein content as high as 14%, imported from Germany; Fresh farm eggs and milk from Harmelen, and Asian sweet ingreditens from my business partners. I also included the following special ingredients:
- partnership with Dutch local bakery suppliers;
- connections with professional & private Asian bakers;
- great support from friends and family...

An Update – May 2025
In 2023, I was lucky enough to join the Cargill Chocolate Team.
At Cargill, I had the honor of witnessing the historic cocoa shortages and their impact—from the industry level all the way to individual consumers. Through this experience, I discovered an even more beautiful world of pure chocolate! Working alongside my amazing colleagues inspired a wave of creativity in me, especially around chocolate-based sweets. That’s when I began developing my second product line: Asian-style Chocolate Cake Rolls!
Yes—they’re still as fluffy and extra soft as ever, completely different from those dry and chewy butter cakes! In my recipe, I use white chocolate to prepare the cream—lots of white chocolate, actually! It helps enhance both the flavor and the delicate round shape of the roll. And of course, no gelatin is added.
Each roll is carefully decorated with white chocolate floral designs and packed in a beautiful transparent box, tied with a lovely ribbon. It’s the perfect gift for your loved ones—especially if they crave something fluffy and chocolatey!
